A history of the practice
In 1958, Jules Silverman opened up his optical at 3005 W. Broward Blvd. It was the first Optometry office in Plantation. Back then, 441 was a dirt road and the cost of an eye exam was $7.00!
Bruce Conan joined the practice in 1978 and the practice moved to 4320 W. Broward Blvd, the same address where the practice is located today. The partnership continued until 1998, when Dr. Silverman retired.
Jonathan Gordon joined the practice in 2010. Conan, Silverman and Gordon sounded like a law firm so he rebranded to Gordon Eye Care.
in 2025, Gordon Eye Care partnered with MyEyeDr to help the practice better serve the community. we are still at the same location. come see us today.
